The Cozaar drug mainly helps lower the blood pressure by preventing the blood vessels from narrowing and at the same time improving the blood flow, which automatically helps the person from suffering high blood pressure or hypertension.

The Cozaar drug contains an important chemical factor or ingredient known as Losartan potassium. The Losartan potassium is kind of a medicine known as the angiotensin II antagonists. By consuming this drug, the Losartan potassium prevents the action of hormones in a human body that produces angiotensin II, which serves as a source of high blood pressure as well as hypertension. The Angiotensin II mainly functions on special receptors of the human body which will lead into 2 major scenarios. First, the Angiotensin II will cause the blood vessels to be narrowed, which automatically affects the blood flow of the human body. Secondly, the Angiotensin II also simulates the production of a hormone known as aldosterone.
